The Living Independent Skills (LIS) Program at Moose Jaw Family Services supports youth as they prepare for adulthood by teaching essential life skills in a supportive, youth-centered environment.
Participants explore practical, hands-on topics such as:

Budgeting and money management

Nutrition and basic cooking

Tenant rights and housing readiness

Accessing identification and banking services
- Other topics of interest identified by the group.
Through group discussions, activities, and real-life learning, youth gain the tools and knowledge they need to navigate adult responsibilities with confidence.
